Copolia Trail, Mahe

One of the best and most popular hiking trails in the Seychelles is the Copolia Trail. It connects the Morne Seychellois National Park with Mount Copolia, which is 497 meters high. The cinnamon, pineapple, and vanilla-scented hiking path leads to a granite mountaintop with a 360-degree view of Victoria and St. Anne Marine National Park. The view extends to Praslin and La Digue when the sky is clear.

Glacis Trois Frères Trail, Mahe

This hiking trail, named after the three granite rocks that tower over the area, offers stunning views of Mahé from its highest point. From here, you can see La Digue and Praslin Island when the sky is clear. This path, which is a part of the Morne Seychellois National Park, is also where you can see the carnivorous pitcher plant. Adventure seekers can extend this trail past its conclusion to reach the higher-altitude Trois Frères Cross, but only experienced hikers should do so.

Vallée de Mai Trail, Praslin

This UNESCO World Legacy Site is accepted to be the Nursery of Eden! Consider the fact that Vallée de Mai is home to three distinct hiking trails that can take you around the park if that historical connection is not enough to entice you to this picturesque location. You can get much-needed shade from the tropical sun in the region’s dense tropical forests. Additionally, the views are stunning! Keep in mind that there will be an entry fee of EUR 26 per person to visit.

Morne Blanc Trail, Mahe

This strenuous trail offers stunning views of the island and its surroundings, as well as a glimpse into history. Take a tour of the SeyTé factory, enjoy some expertly brewed tea, and set out on this trail to attempt to scale Morne Blanc’s majestic peak. The terrain becomes increasingly mountainous as you cross the tea plantation, and the mist may also get to you. Cassedent Trail, Mahe

This twisting path for climbing in Seychelles brings you all over the landscape! As you pass through cool of the day and the palms, follow the ascents and descents. Additionally, there are some bridges to cross, which are a lot of fun. Take a dip after admiring a cascading waterfall in the midst of nature as you reach the trail’s conclusion. A cool cave where you can eat lunch or even take a quick nap in is also nearby. This is the ideal plan for a date!

Fond Ferdinand Fond Trail, Mahe

Ferdinand was once a palm plantation that ran a successful business. It was destroyed by fire in 1990, but it was meticulously restored to become a nature reserve. This park is larger than Vallée de Mer, less expensive, and less crowded than Vallée de Mer, but it is just as beautiful. It is ideal for hiking in the Seychelles in a more relaxed setting.
This 122-hectare park has beautiful views of Sister Island, Coco Island, La Digue, Curieuse, Round Island, Mahé, Félicité, Frégate, and Silhouette from its canopy of Coco de Mer trees. There will undoubtedly be some tropical birds as well. At Fond Ferdinand, you’ll never run out of things to do! Take note that admission to Fond Ferdinand costs EUR 8 per person. This price includes a guide, so it’s a great deal.

Anse Major Trial, Mahe

This little path is wonderful when you need more opportunity to investigate the whole area – it offers the best of Seychelles at all time!Prepare yourself for stunning views of the Indian Ocean and exotic plants as you begin and pass through a private resort. The trail comes to an end at Anse Major, one of the most stunning beaches in the Seychelles. This secluded beach is perfect for lovers. Here you can also go snorkeling!

Vacoa Nature Trail, Mahe

This short trail is ideal for novices due to its lack of incline or difficult terrain. As you begin this circular trail, follow the Dauban River’s course as it winds through stunning mangrove and screw-pine forests. The Pandanus trees, also known as screw pines, or “Vacoa” in the Creole language spoken in the region.

The Anse Mondon Trail, Mahe

Takes you through the National Park to the beach at Anse Mondon, which can only be reached on foot. From the trail’s Belle Vue viewpoint, you can get stunning views of the island. On the way, try to spot the Seychelles bulbul. A fun fact: it is said that a pirate from the nineteenth century buried his treasure here! The Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort and Spa is offering this trip for SCR 950 per person.

Nid d’Aigle Trail, La Digue

This path will test your endurance and tenacity, but the rewards are stunning! Each adventurer’s fantasy, the Nid d’Aigle journey includes climbing the whole way to the Falcon’s Home, the most noteworthy top in La Digue, arriving at more than 1090 feet above ocean level. There are two ways to complete this hiking trail in the Seychelles: you can take a taxi to Belle Vue restaurant (the halfway point) and trek from there, or you can trek from La Passe village to the summit, which is longer and more complex.
We recommend the latter because it is simpler and allows you to conserve energy for mountain climbing. To get to the top, you must climb over a ledge and through fragrant pine forests, granite rocks, and stark red soil. From the summit, you will undoubtedly have breathtaking views of Praslin, Marianne, and Félicité.

Dans Gallas Trail, Praslin

If you’re looking for some adventurous trekking, this trail is right for you! Granite boulders and dense woods greet you as you ascend the trek. There are ladders and steps available to assist you in reaching the summit. One of the most breathtaking hiking trails in the Seychelles offers a stunning bird’s-eye view of Victoria, Beau Vallon, and Morne Seychellois National Park once you complete it.

Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, Praslin

Trail This easy trail lets you see both the tropical ocean and the jungle while being only a few steps from civilization. Because this trail starts and ends at a beach, you can relax by the water before and after walking—a great way to get rid of stress!
Follow the trail through a wooded area beginning at Anse Lazio, a picturesque beach on one side of Praslin. Prepare yourself to hear exotic birds herald you in as you reach Anse Georgette. To get to Anse Georgette, you’ll need to go through the Lémuria Resort’s private property, so you should get permission from the resort’s management in advance.

Grande Barbe Trail, Mahe

This trail takes you to the Grande Barb plateau through Silhouette Island. Giant hawksbill turtles can be seen here relaxing on the beach! The Grande Barbe trail winds through mangrove forests, rocky plateaus, and beaches with white sand. You can also look into the Grande Barbe villages’ abandoned homes. Keep in mind that the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort and Spa offers this hike for a fee of SCR 1500 per person.

Glacis Noire Trail, Praslin

This intriguing trail promises numerous rewards, including spotting the Indian Mynah, the Seychelles bulbul, the Seychelles Black Snail, and the Seychelles Black Parrot. On this trail is the place to absorb, and also where you can see variety of palms and more Coco de Mer trees, is sure to dazzle nature lovers. The perspective at the top gives you unimaginable perspectives on the island.

Glacis La Réserve Trail, Mahe

The Glacis La Réserve Trail is a short, easy hike that gives you great views and is ideal for beginners who want to get a real sense of Seychelles. The path is lined with tall palm trees and is set against a stunning backdrop of charming cliffs and steep granite boulders. You can see different parts of the island from one of three different viewpoints. Take a selfie in front of the granite cliff at the end!

The Mare Aux Cochons trail, Mahe

This trail is located in the Morne Seychellois National Park in Mahé. This lovely trail takes you all the way to the lush Mare Aux Cochons valley and is tucked away in the cosy, green crevices. Although initially difficult, the uphill climb is well worth it. Take a stroll along this hiking trail, which passes by a waterfall, abandoned factories, a gurgling stream, and even an ancient pirates’ cave. This moderately challenging path is definitely suitable for adventurers. We are seriously feeling like Indiana Jones!

Salazie-Pasquière Trail, Praslin

This trail is actually a combination of two trails, so you’ll have twice as much fun! Begin with the Salazie trail, which winds its way through tea plantations and dense mahogany forests to give you a sense of the grandeur of being in the wild. Due to its lack of hills, climbing is not particularly difficult.

Along the way, you’ll see stunning ocean views of Anse Volbert and Cote d’Or, as well as tiny bridges and granite boulders. You can switch to the Pasquière trail and follow the path as you travel along the Pasquière River once this trail reaches its conclusion. Because it is privately maintained by the Raffles Resort, this is one of the best hiking trails in the Seychelles. The Pasquière trail leads right once more into the Salazie trail, so you can return to the right where you began and partake in the perspectives.
